Elias, our head Brewer and co-owner, started his craft brewing journey nearly 20 years ago as a home brewer in NYC. we took over the original Loud Shirt Brewing in May 2021 and spent the following 15 months reorganinzing the foundations and rebuilding the brand. Starting with new recipes to the brewery, reorganization and expansion of the equipment and a complete rebrand that is more inline with the current Loud Shirt family.
To produce the best quality crafted beers inspired by our team’s experiences and emotions. Our beers are about creating unique experiences for our consumers. When we develop recipes, its more about how it makes you feel rather than how will it taste. By having an emotional connection to the process, we can better understand ourselves and the people we drink with.
Right at the core of our business is a passion for producing the best beer possible, every time. We believe in creating an even balance in everything we do. Producing finely balanced beers with consistency and quality at their heart. We strive to ensure batch to batch our product is consistent and up to our own high standards. We brew using only the best ingredients, available to us with a focus on American styles rather than following trends or gimmicks. We are built on a foundation of 4 core beers to support our structure, and we have an EXP(erimental) line, that allows our head brewer to innovate on a small scale.
We are proud of our origin story and believe in promoting our community, supporting its people and the local environment both through sourcing our raw materials as well as distributing our spent ingredients.
Our core is built around 4 mainstays — Hazed & Confused New England IPA, El Dorado Pale Ale, Like Clockwork Pale Ale and our American Light Lager. This foundation gives us the ability to ask ourselves questions like “how would Christmas cake taste in a beer, if we didn’t use and Christmas cake in the recipe?” — welcome EXP 05 Christmas Cake.
